What have we been up to?

​​

2025 is off to a strong start. In January we started the year supporting the Vancouver Firefighter's Burn fund by providing some live music near the chalet.

​

In February we celebrated all of the wonderful projects funded by the New Westminster Neighbourhood Small Grants Foundation. The event was held at Centennial Lodge and it was nice to learn about the different activities happening around the City.

​

March was great, and almost felt as busy as our holiday season! On March 9th we met with our Toronto friends Countermeasure and UBC's The Northwest Collective for the 2nd annual SING Vancouver event. We hosted a workshop regarding rehearsal techniques and enjoyed reviving some of our collaborative songs with both groups.

​

On March 15 we participated in the Pacific Northwest Harmony Sweepstakes competition in Olympia, Washington were we won the award for BEST ORIGINAL SONG! It was also great catching-up with our friends Verdant, and enjoyed meeting new folks from groups like Puget Sound Company. Go check out their websites and follow them on all the socials!

 

Next up we're celebrating the volunteer seniors in New Westminster and will be singing at their event. This performance will feature some of our long-time original members including Maggie Ma and Justin Pham who will join current members Steph, Troy, and Aerhyn.
